The Southwinds Condominium Complex, located on Atlantic Beach's grand oceanfront, provides you with the vacation you deserve. Allow yourself to drift away from your everyday stress in one of the two outdoor swimming pools, or take a walk down to the beach and dip your toes in the water. It's the perfect place for a vacation, close to area amusements with picnic areas and grills on-site. Southwinds F-5 is a beautifully decorated, oceanfront condo on the first floor with a good ocean view. After a day spent on the beach, cozy up on the living room sofa with a bag of popcorn in front of the large flatscreen TV and Blu-ray player, or bring a cold drink out to the oceanfront patio and take in the sights and sounds of the ocean. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area are great for family meals together; there's even a dishwasher to handle the clean-up. After you tuck the kids into the two twin beds, sink into the king-size bed in the primary bedroom suite with a TV and a private bathroom. Additional amenities for your convenience include a private washer/dryer and free WiFi to allow you to work from your home away from home.

This condo says oceanfront but with being on the 1st floor and the dunes and vegetation, made it hard to see the beach which is why I gave it a 4. I pay extra to watch the ocean so that was a little disappointing. However, the building was quiet, about 15 stairsteps to the door, beach walkway was right around the bldg. no walking through a hot parking lot. Did not vist the pool but just across the parking lot. Condo was clean, master bath was small. (I would put kids in that room). Loved sitting on the balcony at night and hearing the waves. Stackable washer/dryer in unit was awesome! newer appliances, could use some more pots/pans IF you cook on vacation. Atlantic Beach was very nice. We went late August and traffic not bad at all. short drive over bridge to Morehead City and 30 min to Beaufort. Many restaurants & beach shops, beach was wide & shelling is great. Linens/terry/beds/furniture were all great.

We loved this condo! Great location and easy access to the beach. You can hear and see the ocean from the balcony. King sized bed was very comfortable. We would stay here again and highly recommend it !

This unit was well decorated and clean. Although on the first level there is still a nice view from the balcony and you can hear the ocean. What is even more convenient is the boardwalk for the beach is next to the building. Just a few steps up and you are on your way in less than a minute! Overall the unit was quite, convenient, clean, and well put together. Will be staying again!

Clean, cute, great location!

The pool was clean, just a short walk to the beach, close to Moorehead and other places in Atlantic! Definitely would rent again!

Very good experience.

We enjoyed our stay. Great location. Easy check in and check out. The property was very nice and both the building and the unit had been recently remodeled. The unit was well equipped and comfortable. It was tastefully decorated. The only complaints I would have was that we could not find a pizza cutter and it would have been nice to have some curtains in the bedrooms. The white mini blinds did a poor job of keeping the early morning sun out. However overall five stars.

The condo was very nice. Very convenient to the beach. Only issue was the Wi-Fi. We had a hard time connecting during our stay. I would definitely recommend and we plan to stay here on our next visit.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The only thing I would warn people of is the parking lot WILL flood if there is a lot of rain. I had no other option but to go through the water and unfortunately it cost me 400+ dollars to get it fixed right after. It would have been really nice to know it floods, I would have parked closer to the entrance and avoided the flooding. But other than that the place was great and I would definitely stay there again.

Great location with sufficient amenities. There’s two pools within the complex and condo F is a short walk to the beach. The condo does not have an elevator, so be prepared to carry luggage, etc. up steps.

A two minute walk to the beach. Hoses and outside shower to cool off and get sand off were a plus! Internet issues having to re-connect often was a bother but not an issue. Complex nextdoor has a large outdoor enclosed pool that has lights on 24/7. Bedroom windows do not have darkening shades. The complimentary dish detergent and dish soap came in handy as well. Looking forward to visiting again in the future.

Cozy Condo

The condo was very clean and easy to get to. Communication with the realtor company was easy and they responded quickly. There were just 2 of us and there was plenty of room. It would easily accommodate 4 comfortably. The kitchen was nicely furnished with pots/pans and utensils for cooking. It was a very relaxing get-away.

The condo was very clean and just right for the 2 of us. There was room for 2 other people but it was just us this time. The kitchen was nicely stocked with pots/pans and utensils. It was a great trip. The only small complaint, which is minor, is the very long key pad code that we had to put in each time. There was a key that fit into the key pad but it didn't unlock the door. A minor issue, like I said. I would definitely stay here again.
