We had the most wonderful stay at this property. The view was incredible to wake up to. The closeness to the beach is perfect. We would recommend bringing beach towels as there aren’t any provided and beach toys too. Unfortunately, the hot tub wasn’t working. But it was the perfect accommodations for our family of five. My husband and I in the king bed and the two young adults on the twins in the second bedroom and our teen on the sleeper sofa. The two full baths were key to an effortless stay! We loved it.

We have stayed in about four different units at Sands Villas over the years. The room (221) at Sands Villa was nice , as always. The door lock took a little getting used to, but by mid-week we got it figured out. We appreciated the material that has been put down over the dunes between the boardwalk and the beach. It made walking, and pulling our beach cart, much easier. I was , however, disappointed that the hot tub at the indoor pool was not working the entire week. There was a sign up saying it would be worked on as soon as possible, but we didn't observe anybody working on it during our stay. I would get those overhead windows or vents working at the indoor pool, too. In the past they've been open during the hottest part of the day; we were told that they aren't working , either. Consequently, it got very hot in the indoor pool area during the day. Other than the issues with the indoor pool area we very much enjoyed our stay.

1st time staying at the Sands Villa. It was very clean and VERY well stocked with all household things like towels extra linens and kitchen items. Not to long of walk to pool and beach. Enjoyed it very much. Quiet also

Unit is just as pictured. Plenty of room for 3 of us. Enjoy being oceanfront. It’s a beautiful view from the balcony with Adequate tables/chairs. The bed in the master bedroom is quite comfortable. Living room furniture is a bit sparse but adequate. Like the little seating area where you first walk in to drop your beach gear etc.. We cook a lot and appreciate that some additional cookware and utensils were added this year. The boardwalk to the beach is very nice and Sands Villa has added a blue “carpet” that extends through the dune area making it a much easier trek. The two pools (indoor/outdoor) are a nice addition to the beach. Haven’t used the grills but they’re there if you want them. There are even tennis courts!! My husband needs oxygen therapy and Vacasa was super helpful in transporting the tanks and equipment delivered by Lincare to our unit. A literal life saver. And the elevators are a godsend.

This unit has a great view of the ocean and pool. The placement of the unit is in the middle of everything so was easy to get where we needed to go. The building has elevators which was very helpful with loading up. Beach access was easy to get to, but be warned that the beach is very wide here and it is a long walk to the water. The kitchen was well stocked for the simple meals we made. However, there is no ice maker, so bring your own or you can use the ice trays provided. We liked that Vacasa provided all sheets and towels and a starter pack for kitchen and bathrooms. This unit is a two bedroom and while the second bedroom has two beds, it is cramped. There are no ceil fans, but portable fans are provided. This unit is not ideal for kids. There is a lot of glass furniture, decor, and dishes. No puzzles, books, or games for kids and no beach gear to borrow. We brought our own so we were fine, but beware if you're flying in that you will likely need to rent chairs, etc. Overall, we liked the quietness of this condo complex, the location and views were great. We had a nice time and would stay at Sands Villas again.

The pool was beautiful and well maintained. The boardwalk to the beach was very nice and easy and there was a nice spot to sit halfway between the condo and the beach. The elevator made bringing our luggage in super easy. The process of checking in and out was very smooth. We could have asked for a better experience.

This was one of the best resorts we have stayed at in in a very long time. The resort grounds were clean and very well maintained. The room was updated and very clean. Had everything needed for a great vacation. Great value for your money. Can’t wait to return!

Sands Villa is a wonderful complex, with good access to a very wide and quiet beach, two pools, two tennis courts and other amenities. Unit 221 is nicely decorated, with a great view of the dunes and beach. This is the second year we have rented this unit as part of our annual family beach week and we definitely will include it in our future plans.

The moment you walk in you are drawn immediately to the sliding glass doors with the beautiful ocean view. Spacious, very clean, and the master bedroom mattress was very comfortable. Will be renting again!!!!

We have been coming to Atlantic Beach and Sands Villa for more than 25 years. Seven years ago we discovered Sands Villa 221 and what a find it has been! The condo is very comfortable and has really been well maintained. The owners are continually making updates throughout the property. It has a great view and is very easily accessible. We highly recommend this beautifully appointed condo to anyone that is looking for a relaxing vacation spot!

This unit is a great place to stay on your vacation at the beach!! The way the owner has it decorated you get that at the beach feel but also feels like home!!..it’s our 3rd year at this unit and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else!!..Fantastic view of the ocean and very peaceful!!... Definitely our home away from home!!! This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
