A Place At The Beach offers extensive amenities and one of the best family getaways imaginable - there's practically no reason to ever leave the resort grounds!

Can't you just see the excitement on your children's faces as they approach the outdoor swimming pool and water slide or the nine-hole putt-putt golf course? Don't forget about the hot tub, the shuffleboard, the tennis and basketball courts, and the gas grills. There's even an indoor pool should the rain ever decide to move in. Ready to hit the beach? You can follow the walkway to the beautiful, white sand of the Crystal Coast and ride the waves, soak up the sun, or collect seashells.

This beautifully updated condo is located on the first floor and has all the comforts of home, including plenty of seating in the living room where you can enjoy your favorite shows on the large flatscreen cable TV or watch a DVD. Step outside, have a seat on the balcony, and unwind as you breathe in the fresh ocean air. There's also a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary major and small appliances (including a stacked washer/dryer), a dining table for six, and additional seating at the counter.

The primary bedroom features a king bed, a TV, a ceiling fan, private balcony access, and a private bathroom with a stall shower. The second bedroom, located near the second full bathroom, has a twin-over-double bunk bed and a single trundle bed to accommodate many sleeping configurations. The second bedroom also has an enclosed ceiling fan with dimmable light, and a TV and DVD combo for streaming or viewing movies. The second bedroom TV is not connected to cable. Free WiFi is provided for your ease and convenience as well.

This home is located close to the beach, first floor so minimally stairs, no stairs to get to the beach, outdoor pool/water slide is so much fun, and the unit is well equipped for small children! Has a high chair, pack and play, baby pool floaty (and other beach toys for kids!) and toys/books!

We loved so much about our stay at Atlantic Beach. A Place at the Beach was ideal due to its large pool(and slide!), short walk to the beach, and quick drive to just about everything else. We slept comfortably and will recall our week with fond memories. Thank you!

Very nice unit and just steps to the ocean. The indoor pool and hot tub were great. The basketball court is very nice. Enjoyed visiting Fort Macon State Park and hiking the trail. Very pleasant stay in winter because the weather was still mild and no crowds.

The condo was fantastic, sofa bed couch was different then any I have ever seen in other rooms. Real nice. I would definitely stay again. The shower in the master bath is great as well. If available again next year I would stay in it.

Clean - Close to the beach

We loved A Place At The Beach! The condo was nicely decorated in coastal flair and had all the amenities we needed for an enjoyable stay including towels, laundry and dish detergent, and beach toys. We went to the pool several times and played many rounds of mini golf. We also played tennis and basketball. Each morning we ventured out onto the beach in the early morning to hunt for treasure and watch the sunrise. A memorable trip indeed! Thank you for opening up your place to our family!

Fantastic Unit

Overall this unit was wonderful. We ran into an issue with the fancy ceiling fan light switch in the first bedroom. Maintenance responded very quickly, they were unable to resolve the issue but they did everything in their power to provide an adequate solution. A few general recommendations (not impactful enough to classify as a complaint by any means): a curved shower curtain rod in the baths would go a long way to not feeling attacked every time you shower, the master bed did leave a lot of cushioning to be desired…to the point that I had bruises on my hips (I’m a side sleeper), the washing machine was not open when we arrived nor did we think about it until going to do laundry two days before leaving…we had to purchase a cleaning kit to remove as much mold from the machine as possible before washing clothes, the provided toaster oven does not function and there is no other toaster…we improvised and made toast in a pan, the balcony light was out (literally did not care, just wanted to let you know). With all of that being said there were plenty of clean linens, lots of dishes and cookware, the air conditioning kept up like a pro, beautiful decor, fantastic location in the building! We would absolutely stay here again!!

This was our second time staying at this complex. We love it here! This unit was much nicer and newer than the first place we stayed and super clean! I wish we would’ve known to pick up the keys at vacasa first ahead of time before going to a place at the beach but other than that everything was perfect! This place is amazing for the kids, we love staying here and will be back!
