From the world-class fishing and fresh seafood to the museums, the aquarium, and all the local eateries, breweries, and shops - there is something for everyone in this charming Crystal Coast town. Fort Macon State Park is less than a half-mile from the property. At home, kick back in the living room to watch shows and movies on the smart TV or head out to the private patio to soak in the views and cool ocean breeze. The convenient kitchen area makes it easy to plan and prepare meals at home. Additional perks include central air-conditioning and free WiFi. Shared laundry facilities are available on-site. Awesome Location

This was our third year at A Place at the Beach and our second in this specific unit. It is by far our favorite community that we have stayed at on Atlantic Beach. The amenities are the best and everything is well cared for and maintained. We will continue to stay here in the future.

Lovely condo in a great resort! Most comfy sofa and king bed!

We enjoyed a great time at the beach and will come back again! We loved the resort! Would have loved to have had an iron/ironing board available other than that we had a great stay!

The owners really love their condo and keep it up to date. The kitchen is immaculate. Brand new appliances. The only suggestion I have is for more storage containers for left overs and serving bowls (for things like pasta and a midnight popcorn snack). We improvised with pots and that worked out great! The master bath is great! We had some issues with the hallway bathroom. But things break and Vacasa fixed them:) The living room has a lovely sofa to relax on and watch tv- even though we only did that one night for an hour lol This condo is literally the furthest from the beach and up 3 stories of stairs. We hauled our luggage up and I used it as a way to get extra steps in. The view from the balcony is AMAZING! Including the view from the hallway of the sound. We have never stayed this far away from the ocean but it really didn’t affect us at all. Again, it’s so great to see owners who put so much time and money into making a vacation a true vacation and not try to be cheap. Would 100% stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this beach condo. Unit was very clean when we checked in and was ready early. The property amenities were great and well maintained. This place is also very close to good restaurants, which is a plus. Potential cons for some folks: The elevator (there is only one in the building) is quite far from the unit, and luggage carts were not easy to come by when we checked in. We ended up just carrying all of our stuff up the 3 flights of stairs. For families with a lot of gear or mobility challenges, this is probably not a great option. Similarly, if you haul a lot of gear to the beach, be prepared for a .4 mile walk (we measured it on our Apple Watches). Final con: The main TV is not a smart tv, and WiFi is a captive that forces a log in every time you use it. This isn’t especially important unless you need to work for a bit or want to watch movies at night. All in all a great stay and would rent again!

The rental is on the smaller side, but is well appointed. The beds are comfortable. The couch is comfortable. The kitchen is tight, but has everything needed. You can see the ocean which is nice. The unit is on the third floor and only accessible by stairs so that's something to consider when booking. Children enjoyed the indoor pool. Check-in instructions via Vacasa left a lot to be desired (no gate code, no mention of which building the unit was in).
