Just a stone's throw from Fort Macon State Park, this condo boasts direct beach access and two on-site pools (one with a slide) in addition to many other incredible amenities, which include tennis courts, a basketball court, shuffleboard, mini-golf, outside bowling, hot tubs, a pet park, grills, and picnic tables. Furnished with a bar-height bistro table with seating for two, early birds will love catching morning sunrises from the private balcony. Don't worry if you like to sleep in though - the balcony is perfect any time of day, with stunning views available around the clock. While you won't want to miss out on the fresh, local fare, the full kitchen - including a dishwasher - makes it easy to plan at-home meals for your stay. There is also a wet bar if you feel like fixing delicious and refreshing beverages. After a day of sun and fun, unwind in the living room while enjoying your favorite shows or a family movie night on the wall-mounted smart TV with streaming and cable. Our stay was great.

This condo was lovely and well-stocked for our short stay-we were able to make simple meals and snacks easily. Furniture was comfortable and everything was very clean. The beach and pool entrances were a little bit of a walk as this unit is in the back of the complex, but it's a huge bonus that the complex hallways are enclosed so you get to walk from your room in the shade instead of blazing sun. We had a great time.

The check in process was a breeze. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The unit was immaculately clean and had everything you need! My kids really enjoyed the pools and the activities like pickleball, basketball, and mini golf. Perfect location! Already looking forward to our next trip to AB! Would definitely recommend!

This was a very nice unit. The condo complex is also very nice, clean and appears to be well run. The pool area appeared to be extremely popular with children and families. We enjoyed enjoyed the location near Fort Macon State Park which allowed for fantastic long walks through the park trails.

The unit is clean and cozy as pictured. The leasing company was easy to deal with and responsive. The kitchen has plenty of hardware, but is missing outdoor grilling tools. You can borrow a set from the onsite leasing office but they close at 5 every day. The unit is on the far end of the property relative to the beach so bring a cart to roll your gear to the sand, especially if you have small children. Will be keeping this destination on our list to book again.

Great value stay.

Booked it for Easter week 2025. We enjoy staying by the ocean but anticipating the water would still be on the crisp side we were happy to find a place that had an indoor heated pool. The unit was clean and cozy as pictured. Fully stocked kitchen hardware. The unit is located on the far side of the property so bring a cart to haul your beach chairs and stuff to the sand. The beach is clean with plenty of space . Will definitely book again.

We loved the property! The beach access was wonderful & the place was gorgeous! We've visited 3 times & 3 different locations & this was probably the best place we've stayed on the island so far! Would definitely rebook!

We had everything we needed and a fully stocked kitchen. We had some minor problems with the sliding door in the living room not working but we could still get to the balcony from the bedroom. Beds were very comfortable and my teenagers had a great time on the property. Would stay again.

Property was just as listed, you could see the inlet from the front door, indoor pool and beach view from balcony. Only suggestion would be to add a step stool for the shorter person 🤗. A moderate walk to the beach from condo, as this property is closer to the resort office. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and my 6yr old son had a blast 🏖️♥️.

Overall I would give this property 1000 star review. Property was immaculate upon arrival. Got to check in early. Kids lived having their own room. I slept the best that I ever have when on vacation. The master bedroom bed was so comfortable I slept through the night every evening we were there. Had two separate check out instructions directly from Vacasa. Did a combination of what they both said to do.

Came down for sons birthday with his friend. Property was immaculate upon arrival. Was able to check in early. Kids had a great time with their own room. As many trips that I have gone on sleeping in a bed that was not my own i have never slept well until I stayed here. The master bedroom bed was so comfortable I slept through the night every night we were there. Check out instructions were a tad annoying. Even though I booked through VRBO, the condo we stayed in was managed from a realtor office. I got two separate check out instructions. One said for me to wash dishes and put away, take out trash and leave all linens on beds and in bathrooms. Second set of instructions said to load diswasher and run it but leave the dishes there and the cleaning company wpuld put away, said to take out trash, and then to take off all linens from beds and leave sitting in the rooms. I just washed dishes and put away, took out trash, and took off linens because I was not sure what to do. Communication was great through the realtor office. Only thing I would have liked a little was to not be getting so many texts and emails. You don't always get great customer service and with Vacasa they went over and beyond with that, so I don't want to sound unappreciative with the abundance of customer service. Overall a 1000 star review. Loved this place.

Beach Vacation

The outdoor pool is stunning, complete with a water slide. We spent more time at the beach than the pool on this trip. We can't wait to come back to a Place on the Beach.

Host was super responsive even before we checked in. We had one issue with the battery in a remote and they responded and fixed it immediately. Very happy with the host and the entire process.
