This two-story charmer is within a short walking distance of the beach and near amazing local attractions that include Oceanana Pier & Pier House Restaurant, Fort Macon State Park, Crystal Coast Civic Center, North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores, Old Burying Ground, Island Express Ferry Service, and Lost Treasure Golf & Raceway. As you enter this splendid retreat, you will be welcomed by a bright open floor plan that seamlessly combines all living spaces into one. Break out any of the board games provided and gather around the dining table for an entertaining evening at home, or watch a fun show or movie on the TV in the living room. Show off your culinary skills and surprise your guests with delicious homemade treats prepared in the well-appointed kitchen, complete with everything you need. The kitchen opens onto a sunny deck with an outdoor dining area with an umbrella where you can enjoy alfresco meals. The front deck looks over the sound to Morehead City and offers a great spot to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. The upper level houses all three bedrooms, with the primary suite offering a private deck and an en suite bathroom.

Overall great place to stay. Minor improvements could be made but we loved the place and quick walk to the beach.

We had an amazing stay at Over by the Sea: Dog & snowbird-friendly! The location was perfect for what we needed. We hosted my Mom’s 90th Birthday celebration in Brandywine. Our adult kids, our dogs & us needed a place to rest, cook & prepare for the party. Which is just a short, easy walk to the beach. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed, especially a fenced in backyard, though if you have a small dog there are a few gaps where the fence does not come all the way to the ground. Note the house is on the main drag, so keep your pups securely leased. Front or back decks, porches were perfect for morning coffee. The hosts were incredibly responsive and welcoming. We would absolutely stay here again!

This property was a great value. It was clean and met all our needs for our visit to Atlantic Beach. We enjoyed walks in the Ft. Macon State Park and along the beach.

Have stayed at this unit several times. Super view of the sound and port at Beaufort, quick walk to the wonderfully quiet beach. Nice safe neighborhood allowing us to take our dog out for walks. Everything here that you’ll need for a great vacation, only need to bring your favorite people to spend it with!

Beach house on Fort Macon Road

This home is in a great location to get to many places in the area, and has a good view from the balconies. The home meets all basic needs/amenities, we had no problems with the home itself, would just be mindful when booking this home for elderly or handicap guests because of all of the stairs. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you!!!

The location is perfect. There were a few toys for kids and a tv that plays DVDs. There was always plenty of room for our family and the views were great. Plenty of space to have outdoor and indoor entertainment. Newer appliances and plenty of bathrooms.
