AB147 Poseidon

There were 3 generations with a total of 17 people on our family vacation. We had a great week in this beautiful home right on the beach. We cooked every meal at home, some of us never left the house and the rest only left to go to Food Lion or the Seafood Market which are both very close. The house was very well stocked for cooking. It could’ve used an extra coffeepot in the mornings for our large group. We spent our days on the beach or in the pool. There were a couple of beach chairs and a few sand toys at the house. Would be great to have a few more chairs especially for those who fly down. The pool was a salt water pool and was very nice. It was smaller than I expected from the pictures but was plenty adequate for us and it was well maintained throughout the week. My only complaint was that you had to go up to the house to wash the sand off your feet rather than having a hose right by the pool which would’ve been more convenient.

3 generations, 17 total. Loved the pool and the well equipped kitchen, cooked all our meals at home. Loved the location on the beach and close to Food Lion and Sea Food Market. Also, loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Great week!

The house was amazing and perfect for our wedding weekend. Location was great, the house was so clean and beds very comfy. Perfect house for a beach vacation.

The house is spacious and beautifully decorated. The furniture (including the beds) was comfy and functional, there were lots of pillows and extra blankets (which I always appreciate). The little soaps and shampoo/conditioners was a nice unexpected touch. Obviously the oceanfront location is fantastic, views are amazing - we saw dolphins right from the deck - there is plenty of seating, indoors and outdoors. The elevator worked everytime we used it. The only negative thing I would say is that while the kitchen was well stocked with cups and dishes, the cookware (pots and pans) could definitely use an update.

Layout of the house is great. Having a bathroom with every room is a big plus. The 4th floor kitchen and dining spaces are really wonderful. Enough room for everyone to have a place at a table for dinner..multiple coffee makers, lots of dishes and silverware…very thoughtfully outfitted. Sometimes large houses have the rooms but not the amenities for a big group..but that was not the case here! Views of the ocean are beautiful. Very conveniently located as well. I would recommend this house.

We LOVED our stay at the Poseidon. Everything was better than we expected, and we will definitely be booking again! Spent a lot of time at the hot tub and pool table in the off-season. As well as hanging out on the numerous oceanfront balconies.

We rented Poseidon for a large family gathering to participate in a charity bike ride to honor my father who passed away from Parkinson’s disease. We had about 16 people. This house is absolutely incredible, and easily fit our group. The views and location are perfect. There were a few small issues- elevator was not working due to a door off hinges, trash full when we arrived, broken coffee pot, and outdoor shower door broken. However, the customer service team quickly responded and took care of these issues. We enjoyed our stay and it was a very special weekend. Looking forward to renting this property again next year.

This house is amazing and the location/beach view is exceptional. A lot of room for a very large group and lots of amenities. The media room is great for small guests to enjoy their children’s shows. The pool is nice and kept very clean… even had a crab join us one evening. We would most definitely return to this house again for vacation! Thank you.

Had a lovely family beach week. Teenagers enjoyed pool table and theater room. Beach access is easy. Pool was clean and enjoyed by all. Many decks to view both ocean and sound side.
