Description

The Southwinds Condominium Complex, located on Atlantic Beach's grand oceanfront, provides you with the vacation you deserve. Allow yourself to drift away from your everyday stress in one of the two outdoor swimming pools, or take a walk down to the beach and dip your toes in the water. It's the perfect place for a vacation, close to area amusements with picnic areas and grills on-site. Southwinds A-16 is a beautifully decorated condo on the third floor with an amazing oceanfront view. Cozy up on the living room sleeper sofa and catch up on your favorite shows or movies on the flatscreen TV and DVD player. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area is great for family meals together; you could also have a picnic on the oceanfront balcony and watch the waves come crashing in. After a long day of making sandcastles and moats, you can toss your swimsuits and beach towels in the stacked washer/dryer so they'll be ready for the next day. The kids can retire to their twin beds as you watch a little TV in the primary bedroom with a private bathroom that has built-in tile shower. Free WiFi is provided as well.

The condo has a spectacular view and is well stocked. The king bed is very comfortable. It has a well stocked kitchen. The furniture is comfortable. Great location and close to all at Atlantic Beach. We would rent it again!!!

We absolutely loved the condo. From the views to the accommodations it was completely 5 Star. The only minor issue we had was there was no parking permit in the condo but the front gate very kindly gave one when we got a notification. Other than that we had a wonderful time. The condo is so pretty. Had everything we needed and more. The beds were very comfortable. The little deck was spectacular to enjoy the views from. Thank you so much for sharing your home. Really should only be listed as a 4 person condo. The kitchen had pots and pans but no hot mit, no dust pan for the broom so cleaning was difficult, no kid cups/limited plastic ware and a lot of glass, the ice maker does not work (there was an ice tray). All that to say the balcony is amazing and you can’t beat the view. The balcony furniture is nice.

This place was wonderful! The room was very nice, and clean. Pool was great, and very well maintained. We stayed in building A, and the beach access was right there at us. The beach was very clean, and they had lifegaurds patroling the area as well. There were a few minor inconveniences though. The wifi is terrible, extremely slow and didn't work half the time. You also can't connect a roku/fire stick to the tvs, or any game system to stream anything. The pull out bed was missing all but 3 springs, so we couldn't use it. Also, an outlet in one of the bedrooms didn't work. Those werent horrible issues though, and we'd definitely stay again!

Location, location, location! Nice small patio overlooks a quiet beach. Very clean and tastefully decorated, and a few minutes from great restaurants. Nearby Fort Macon Park was lovely as well. A few things to note: Use the VACASA information for accessing Wi-Fi; the instructions in the notebook don't work. There was also some confusion between whether dishes needed to be washed or just put in dishwasher, whether garbage needed to be taken out (we did!) -- I just think the notebook in the house needs to be updated. TV image was not very good, but we weren't there to watch TV! All in all, I would come back again with any hesitation -- a great place at a great price!

The oceanfront location was gorgeous! The bed in the master bedroom was comfy. Great to have a washer and dryer in the unit.

The condo was just as pictured. It was clean and comfortable and so enjoyable being right on the beach. It was well stocked with bath towels and paper products and some small essentials were provided, such as coffee filters, soap and detergent. We experienced very few negatives: the master bathroom was very cramped and the shower curtain was dirty at the bottom. The kitchen was well stocked, except no food items were provided, not even salt and pepper. Also, be aware there is no hair dryer.

We had a wonderful week at Atlantic Beach! Sea turtle sightings close to the condo made for the perfect trip! This was our second time staying in this condo. We love the balcony view and seating. The beds and couch could use an upgrade, but other than that it was perfect! We will definitely be back!

The balcony view is by far the most compelling reason to rent this unit. It is a perfect, unobstructed, direct ocean view. The furniture on the balcony is also very nice, comfortable, and clean. Inside, there is ample storage for clothing and we really appreciated having a washer/ dryer in the condo. The furniture is comfy, decor is nice, and we slept well on the beds.

The condo is extremely nice! Very, very clean. Excellent location. Only steps from the beach and the in ground pool. Landscaping is immaculate. Condo is nicely decorated and updated. Highly recommend!

The view was spectacular. The furniture crowds the smaller rooms. The master bathroom needs attending with some minor fixes which were reported. Overall worth it.

The condo photos were accurate. You have a great view from balcony. There is a small washer/dryer in the unit which was advertised incorrectly as shared.

We loved our time here! The space was great for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids, the view was wonderful, and the location was steps from the pool and the beach. The kitchen is well equipped, the washer/dryer in the unit was appreciated, and it was great to have some beach chairs to take to the beach with us! It would have been great if there was access to a pack and play/travel cot for younger guests and perhaps even a beach umbrella or sunshade!
