Description

This oceanfront condo has everything you need for a relaxing getaway at the beach! Along with direct beach access from the complex, you'll enjoy endless on-site fun, with features including an in-ground pool, tennis courts, and BBQ grills. Other outdoor recreation includes walking trails and historic sites at Fort Macon State Park, less than a mile from the condo. Shopping, charter services, boat rentals, and great local dining options are within minutes of home. Bright and inviting, the condo comes well-appointed for modern coastal comfort. The private balcony is a great place to watch the sunrise, but it also makes a perfect spot for happy hour with a wet bar equipped inside for mixing up your favorite libations. The kitchen comes with everything you need for home cooking, a breakfast bar, and a formal dining table for making memories. The airy living room is furnished for comfortable home lounging. Stream your favorite shows and movies on the TV or browse the web with complimentary WiFi. Central air-conditioning and a private washer/dryer are also equipped for added convenience and comfort.

Cons: washer doesn’t work with more than a few items, multiple occasions it stopped mid cycle and we had to wring all of our clothes out and split a single load into 3 separate loads just so it would run properly. A lounge chair and a few bar chairs need some screws tightened - they were pretty wobbly. Screen on primary bedroom torn - couldn’t sleep with window open to hear the ocean. Not sure if it’s a wiring or just old lightbulbs but the breakfast bar pendant lights do not work, and one day randomly the kitchen light wouldn’t turn on either - but it worked the next day. Pros: great view, lots of pots/pans and extras like throw blankets, puzzles, books, beach chairs and even binoculars to enjoy the view with! Great beach access, great pool/hot tub in complex and this unit is easy access to stairs and elevator. Know before you go: the pull out bed is not pre-made so you need to find the sheets and pillows around the unit to make. The pull out bedroom is smaller, so nothing else will fit when pulled out. Also, it shares a translucent wall with the kitchen so you can see the kitchen light on when someone is trying to sleep. Since the kitchen it very stocked, any groceries need to stay on the counter somewhere as there is no empty cupboard space. We rolled up the rug at the front for our stay and put it aside as it was just catching water and sand to be tracked through the unit. It was much easier just to walk into a tiled entry and easily sweep up any mess. Over all good unit, just some maintenance issues that could be addressed.

Thanks you for your valued feedback. Management is pleased to report that since this review, the homeowner has replaced the washing machine with a new one and the additional maintenance concerns have been addressed by our in-house maintenance staff.

It's an older property that has lovely landscaping and great views of the dunes and ocean. The pool in beautiful as well as the back lawn. The people we meet there are always so friendly. Pro: great floor plan, great views, and wifi worked well for remote work. Plenty of plates, cups, utensils and bakeware. A good start up of paper product and tolietries was a nice touch too. Cons: Washing machine didnt work. Unit is so overstocked there is little storage room. No measuring cup so I had to measure with love when cooking.

From the minute you walked in the front door thru the apt to out to the balcony, the apt was awesome. Much attention was taken in the decor and I felt at home. There were even Birthday candles in the drawer and decorations for Memorial Day in the cupboard. The kitchen was amazing. High end products appliances. The directions for checkin/ checkout were very clear and easy to comply with. I was extremely happy to have such.a nice place to stay.

Loved the location of this property with its proximity to the beach and the abundant options for dining and entertainment within a 10 minute drive. This unit had one of the best views on the property and was very cozy with 3 separate rooms for sleeping and a comfy living area to hang with friends or family. Very happy with our decision to stay here!

Beautiful view,.great location, clean, cozy and comfortable. All the amenities you need. Wish there was a TV in the master bed but that ended up forcing us to get some much needed rest.

We loved the condo and all the amenities. It felt like home for us. Everything was so clean. It was so nice listening to the ocean while enjoying coffee on the deck then down the courtyard to the beach. Plenty of counter space for meals. The whole property very well maintained. We enjoyed the location of property and surrounding areas. All convenient and connecting. We will definitely be back!

Sands Villa 323 was exactly as described. Great proximity to the beach, beautiful view from the balcony, quiet and comfortable place, and loved the ample seating. Kitchen had all the essentials to make simple meals. It had a great room off the kitchen that I used as an office for work. Didn’t get a chance to use the indoor or outdoor pool, but they looked awesome. Our only complaint is with Vacasa. We received several emails prior to the date of our stay, but none detailed check-in or check-out procedures. Unbeknownst to us there was an offsite location to pick-up keys, gate code, etc. This left us scrambling on arrival trying to figure out how to get in. We had to call several numbers before we figured out where to go. Once we received the key, we still didn’t have the key code to be able to enter the condo. Wanted to mention it here, so that future renters might be able to avoid this issue. Also wasn’t clear if we were able to check-out prior to office hours. Called Vacasa support but still wasn’t clear on check-out procedures. Not withstanding, the house was very clean and we were provided toiletries, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and laundry detergent, which was a nice touch. We would love to stay here again, but just hope Vacasa can fix these procedure problems.
