Can't you just see the excitement on your children's faces as they approach the outdoor swimming pool and water slide or the nine-hole putt-putt golf course? Don't forget about the hot tub, the shuffleboard, the tennis and basketball courts, the game room, and the gas grills. There's even an indoor pool should the rain ever decide to move in. Ready to hit the beach? You can follow the walkway to the beautiful, white sand of the Crystal Coast and ride the waves, soak up the sun, or collect seashells. This oceanfront condo is located on the second floor, where it features all the comforts of home. Enjoy plenty of seating in the living room as you tune in for your favorite shows on the flatscreen cable TV. Step outside, have a seat on the balcony, and unwind in the fresh ocean air. You'll also find a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary major and small appliances (including a stacked washer/dryer in the closet), a dining table for six, and additional seating at the counter. The primary bedroom features a TV, private balcony access, and an en suite bathroom with a stall shower, while the second bedroom is ideal for kids. Free WiFi is provided as well, so you can upload your family vacation photos and make everyone back home jealous.

The view was amazing- especially for watching Hurricane Erin pass by! Be sure to bring a cookie sheet/baking pan if you plan on cooking cookies or pizza!

Unit 271 is awesome. My family has rented it multiple times. The decor is lovely and the extra blankets for couch time were appreciated. Great views! We barely used the tv (just watched dvds borrowed from the office) but a smart tv would be a nice addition and an ice maker would be helpful. Small matters when it comes to the perfect week spent with my husband and 2 grown children. A Place at the Beach has been a yearly destination for over 20 years. Unit 271 is definitely one of the best units available!

We had a great stay. Very family friendly and lots to do. However our next to last day we found 2 huge roaches and we were so grossed out we just packed up and left. My kids were freaked out. I contacted the guest services email and got a quick response that it would be sent to the local team but never received any other feedback.

Great 2nd floor condo with beach view. Only stairs to get to and from condo, but close to parking lot on one side and short walk to beach boardwalk on other side; similar short walk to indoor pool area. (Note outdoor gas grills near pool; weather didn't let us try them, but certainly would have grabbed fresh local fish & grilled if we had the chance.) Ft. Macon park trails accessible by sidewalk or beach walk. Great place for people who love to walk the beach & trails without driving, especially in the early morning/evening. Sunrise visible from condo, though it's over the next door resort -- both sunrise and sunset visible from beach: amazing to see both from the same location! Check-in requires two stops, one at the local Vacasa office on the causeway and one at the resort office (if either are closed, they have after hours pickup for packets that will get you into the rental, though you will have to check in at the resort office the next day when they're open & staffed). Condo is well stocked with most everything you could need for a vacation stay, though oddly short of a paring knife. All appliances worked well, though we didn't use the washer/drier. Some details like lamps are aging, but pretty much what one might expect for a rental place like this. Fantastic convenience to have two bathrooms in a relatively small place. Note that outer screen/storm door closes hard & will blow open in wind if left ajar. (reported to rental; maybe it'll be fixed before you get there) Note that if you're viewing this on a site other than Vacasa, you'll be required to register & use Vacasa's online system or app once you secure the rental.

The condo was amazing. You can see ocean from all windows in living room and kitchen and bedroom. Very peaceful and comfortable. We love the layout of the room so much space. And 2nd floor ocean front.

We visited in October during the Scottish highlander games. The weekend was chilly but we absolutely loved our condo and will be Hopefully be lucky to book it again. The views was amazing and beautiful. We were very comfortable there. We loved the indoor pool and shell hunting. The condo was just up the road from Fort Macon. And Beaufort was only a 15 min drive away. We loved all the things to do around the condo. Our kids loved their room. We will definitely be back.

The best thing about this unit is waking up to clear views of the sunrise and ocean. The sunset can be see perfectly from the balcony.

This place was just ok. The wine glasses hanging were dirty, and coffee pot, the furniture (couch & recliner had a dirty feel. The guest shower didn’t drain well. The TV cable box only picked up a few channels.I kept getting bothered by repair technicians there to do work, The indoor pool also looks very old and needs an update. Overall it was fine the washer and dryer was convenient the view of the Ocean was pretty, The master bedroom was nice. Location was good. Playground outside was nice.

Well stocked and one of the few units directly facing the beach. It was comfortable and clean. Love the resort amenities, especially the indoor pool as it was still cool. Brand new beach walkway and recently refurbished stretch of beach were wonderful. Would give 5 stars but the king mattress desperately needs to be replaced as do the pillows in the unit.
